Is Steve Bennett back? Yes!

I just checked the pepper7 website and it seems to be running. There is a problem connecting with PayPal, however. Does anyone know what is happening, cause I got a backlog of stuff I need to order. I hope Steve is OK and the site works again.

Hi David,

When I check the Pepper7 website it still has the notice saying:

IMPORTANT NOTICE
DUE TO HEALTH PROBLEMS I AM UNABLE TO TAKE ORDERS AT THE CURRENT TIME
I AM VERY SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE

Cheers,

I guess my checker may be different. It shows, at pepper7, an operating website. Just Papal doesn't work so I emailed Steve regarding wanting to order a bunch of stuff. I do hope he is really doing casting again.
David (Doc

Hey Chris and all
I'm afraid you may be right. I now see the red letter message regarding health. However, if you try from blackdog mine you get the clear website. Strange. Backdoor?
David (Doc)

And now, Wednesday, the pepper7 site is regular, with no red disclaimer. I can see my cart (and boy, is it full) :P

Steve was at Burton 7mm bash today and hopes to get back to normal asap and plans to be at Pewsey show in a few weeks time.

I spoke to Steve at Burton-on-Trent on Saturday.
He is on the mend, slowly but surely, we were looking at some new Japanese motors he was trying out, having seen these posts I wish I'd asked him about the website, sorry guys.

Good to hear, Steve is recovering from what ever. Even better would be, if he shows up with contributions in this forum again. At least, I am missing him, (plus a few others..)

After all, his humor and skill pushed the forum to a good level until recently. Wasn´t it Steve Bennett and Steve Warrington, who invented Gn15 Scale at the beginning of this century?

Have Fun

Glad to hear that Steve is on the mend, just been on the Pepper 7 site and it still has the same red message in place which is confusing because it wasn't there a few weeks ago, hope things are ok with Steve. also I noticed that some one said that if you use the Black Dog Mime site all is clear, this site was clear when Steve first put the red message up so don't know if you could order things off the BDM site or not

Yes that is my question too. I left an order but the Paypal seemed not to work. I do hope he is OK.

Thanks

Hopefully Steve will have time to come back onto forum, must be very busy at the moment so I won't push it. It has been very quiet here since his absence.

This is fantastic news for Steve! (and Gn15 as well)

I attempted to place an order but Paypal wouldn't play ball. I have emailed Steve, and no doubt all will be well,

cheers

I just got my first new order from Steve and if anything it is better quality than before he took his leave of absence. Superb quality and quicker from England than some of our local model makers can deliver.
Steve is back, and I am grateful! Now I actually have to get to work (gulp!). G9 here I come.

David,

great news! i have put in a big order which will probably wend its way to Australia shortly.
I am really looking forward to adding to my Gn15 stable of locos and wagons (which to date is small.
The other week I purchased Bill Corser's "Gmeinder Gap", which is a simply lovely little loco

Things are definitely looking up. Great to have Steve back on deck! :D
