(M) Industrial Narrow Gauge Illustrated

Postby Steve Bennett » Thu Dec 08, 2005 5:08 pm

The latest CD in Jeremy Tilston's range of industrial narrow gauge drawings has a distinct minimum gauge theme to it, so I thought it appropriate to give it a plug on here. This is what he has to say about the latest edition.

Subject: COMMERCIAL: Industrial Narrow Gauge Illustrated Vol. 2 No.3

The next edition of INGI is just about ready & orders are being taken.
It is a "bumper" issue containing the following:

* R&ER "Greenbat" (ex-Storrs Bridge - photographs & drawings)
* Hunslet-Jenbach DH25 "Jubilee" (as undergoing conversion at Perrygrove - photographs & drawings)
* Industrial Narrow Gauge Locations: Friden Brickworks (photographs & 1:2500 scale map)
* Mini-Simplex (drawings)
* War Office drop-side shipping wagon (drawings)

all on one multi-scale CD-ROM (7/8"=1'0", 16mm=1'0", 1"=1'0")

More pages for the same bargain price!
£3 plus £1 p&p (UK) £1.50 (Europe) £2 (RofW)

For those not familiar with these, the CD consists of superbly detailed drawings in PDF format (you will need the freely available Acrobat Reader to view them) along with high resolution photographs of the subjects of the drawings where possible. With this latest volume comes the introduction of the drawings in 1:12 scale (in addition to 1:13.5 and 1:19) which makes it nice and easy to convert to 1:24. Below is a reduced quality version of one of the drawings to give an idea of what you can expect. I can thoroughly recommend these CD's and have collected each one as it has been released.

If you have not purchased any in the past Jeremy will also make you a complete CD with the new one and all the rest in the series at a reasonable fee. :wink:
