Pepper7 Owners Health

Postby woody 1 32 » Thu Aug 14, 2014 12:45 pm

Hi I have just seen the last posting on the subject of Pepper7, it was earlier this year, I have dealt with Steve on frequent occasions, I know that it is ' A one man band ' so to speak, so it does take a while for any orders to come through, but my main reason for posting is that on the Web Site it says that he is not taking any orders at the moment due to ill health, does any one on the Forum know if Steve is ok ?
Hi, my name is Pete, I model in 1/32 scale, using 0-16.5 narrow gauge track

Steve has been such a huge inspiration. I hope he manages to recover and takes all the time he needs to do so. Having been seriously ill myself and trying to keep a business running I know it's a very hard often upsetting task. He deserves a break.

Truly hope he'll pull through, without Steve's inspiration and encouragement, I would not even be modelling right now. Best wishes go out to him.

Dear fellow modellers,

Steve is an inspiration. It was his "Gnat" and other kits that started my interest and activity in railway modelling. His kits are brilliant, well designed and easy to make. My comments have all been expressed before by others, I just thought I would mention my own personal feelings.

I know some have experienced problems in receiving orders and refunds - this is not Steve's normal way of doing business and I suspect are connected with his illness.

Please may you get well again Steve. Our thoughts are with you for a speedy recovery. Thank you for what you have done for the hobby and may you continue to do so in the future.
Warm regards,
Mark

Apart from Mark's comment which arrived after my call to Steve I've recounted all your comments to him for which he sends his thanks.
He sounds much better than when I spoke with him mid-August, hopes to have his stand at Swanley Oct 25.

In view of upcoming senility I thought that I should check meaning of 'recounted'. This is what the Oxford Dictionary illustrates the meaning with.

"I recounted the tale to Steve."

I kid you Gnot :!:

As a Gnovice to this scale, and someone who has spoken to Steve on just a couple of occasions, may I add my best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

I found Steve to be a very affable and courteous person to deal with and am delighted with the quality of his Davenport conversion kit, which I have only just started to build.

Now please excuse me, I must go and unstick my fingers..............

Steve

Good Evening

Any update on Steve?

Thought I'd ask as it's been a few weeks since last info.

My best regards to Steve, if Gerry is in the position to forward them, I'm sure that other members of this forum would like a progress report.

Regards
Steve
