Postby Dave Westall » Tue Sep 04, 2007 8:21 pm

Hi ffolks,

Plenty of notice for this one, usual place, usual time.

That's to say Ralph and Janet's with a 7.30pm start.

Bring something to show if you wish. See you there :!:

Hopefully will have a furry-purrer inhabiting the travelling cat bed by then :D

I hopefully will make it but my missus has a hospital appointment that afternoon and you never know how they will go.
Fingers crossed though.

Ah.

I've had the dreaded call from my father's nursing home this evening. There's every possibility that I'll be in South Wales making arrangements next week.

If this is the case, can someone else (Barry?) pick up Nick at Wymondham?

If I'm in Norfolk I'm happy to act as chauffeur but the chances are I won't be.

Sorry to hear that Emrys, don't worry about Nick, I can collect him on the way if need be.

Thanks, but I don't think anyone's twigged why I suddenly know I'm going to be in Norfolk next Wednesday...

Well it's either good news or bad, and if it's bad, it may be that either you can't do anything about it or you will be back amongst the east angles by Wednesday.

I'm hoping it's the good news.

I think that everybody was hoping it was good news and fearing it was bad news and keeping silent in case it was the opposite of what they said.
However re-reading your post subject: Ah, I think it is the latter.
I'm sorry for your loss
