Mince Pie Special

Postby Dave Westall » Mon Dec 17, 2007 10:26 pm

The date that is most suitable for me to visit the Bure Valley is the 31st Dec '07 but there is also 01 Jan '08 (Subject to Group hang-overs?).

Trains depart at 11.00 and 14.15hrs from Aylsham.

Fare is £10 return for Adults, £9 for Recycled Teenagers, £6 for 5-16 Year olds and Free for under 5s.

Free mince-pie at Aylsham :)

What suits everybody else for a GnOrfolkers outing?

Hmmm, I'm out to a New Years eve do in the late afternoon of the 31st, so if we go that day I'd have to take the 12:15 back to Aylsham assuming we go out on the 11:00 so I can be back home by about 16:00. Not a problem though.

I'm looking forward to it but I can't plan anything yet as it all depends on how my mother-in-law-to-be is.
I will try my best to drag the family up there though :D

mince pies

Postby Rockley Bottom » Tue Dec 18, 2007 9:02 pm

Hi chaps
We will be travelling back from darkest Oxfordshire on 31st so it looks like it will have to be the first for us. A good way to start a new year :!:

What busy lives we lead :) :)

If we cannot all meet up at the Bure valley all of you have a good break at this time of year and we can meet up in 2008.

Regards Janet and Ralph

I can make either day, bearing in mind the time limit factor on the 31st.

Nick PM'ed me:

Since I'm unable to post in the Gn0rfolkers section of the forum, I'll reply directly.

It doesn't matter to me which day or what time we go, let me know and I'll be there.

Nick can now post in the GnOrfolkers and with the addition of his reply it looks as though the 1st will be the better day for the majority to attend.

How does the 11am suit then?

:D :D Crackin' way to start the New Year :!: :D :D

I'd better do some work on my 'railcar' early next year then

It's nice to be looking forward to New Years for a change, normally New Years is just a day where I do nothing.

Hi fellers

I am having trouble getting into the Gnatterbox information sections. Is any body else having the same trouble or is it just me and my computer :?:
The list of sections comes up and then locks.

I can get into into the Norfolk group section when I am notified that a message has been posted.

Life gets difficult :!: :!:
At a loss

Ralph

It's a Friday Ralph, server work always seems to be done on a Friday, I've had some intermittent trouble getting on the forum today too.

I am 99% certain that we will be there 8)
I'm really looking forward to it as I've never been to the BVR before even though I worked just up the road and could hear the engine's whistle as the trains left Aylsham Station

It's all these school children and students at home, clogging up the internet.

I look forward to seeing as many as possible on the 1st. Save a mince pie for me!
