Meeting - 12th August '09

Postby Dave Westall » Thu Jul 16, 2009 7:53 am

The Glorious Twelth!
Yes another opportunity to do pre-show checks before the GnOrfolkers descend on the Dereham Model Railway Show at Dereham's Neatherd High School to display our various layouts and stock on an unsuspecting public. :D

Meeting at the usual time and place with our excellent hosts Ralph and Janet. That's Janet of the delicious home-made biscuits. 8)

Dave

I'd say the pre show checks went rather well last night, both layouts that were present just about worked as intended.

As usual thanks to our hosts for letting us invade for the evening.

I can also report that we were joined by a mysterious chap calling himself Emrys who clearly can't be a proper member of the group as he doesn't have a beard.

My thanks to Dave for the interesting item :D

I can confirm the rare sighting of the mysterious and elusive figure known in certain circles as "Who's he then?"

Good to see you all again and thanks for all the help
Without Barry I would have to rely on clock-work power. Come to think about it...that was provided by Barry as well:? :P

Had stew and Bakewell tart for breakfast, thanks boys

Done a little more cleaning up of the paint work and a few more bits and pieces
In less of a panic

Regards
Ralph
