Aylsham Exhibition 26th September

Postby Jon Randall » Fri Sep 18, 2009 1:40 pm

Anybody fancy going to this exhibition.

For a bit of difference we could park at Wroxham and take a trip on the train to Aylsham. Then use the Routemaster to get to the Jubilee Centre where the exhibition is. Then back again.

No Gn15, we'll have to do something about that :!:

Could be fun. I'll certainly want to take a look at the 16mm scale layout.

EDIT: Bugger I won't have access to the car that weekend. I guess I could take the train from Wymondham to Norwich and then from Norwich to Wroxham.

EDIT2: The train is actually a very reasonable way to get there, with my rail card it costs about as much as the Bus into Norwich.

Doubt if I'll make it, I'm out visiting family that day. :?

Saw the poster of the exhibition in Sheringham today and will try to make the show.
Will post if coming via Wroxham, if not hope to see you at the show.

Won't be able to make it as we're having a family party. :(

What time do you expect to be at Aylsham on Sat :?: We will go straight there as we have to be in that area.

I guess it depends on which train we want to catch to Aylsham.

I've just got to hope that I have my student loan by then, otherwise my overdraft will just get larger.

We'll probably go straight there as well as if we miss a train then it's a long wait for the next and I must get back to watch the Ipswich/ Newcastle match.
I reckon we'll get there at 11am.

Nope, the only trains around that time of day get me there for 8:38 or 10.

Hi Fellers
Having just re-read my posting. I ment that I would be at Aylsham at 11 o'clock  as we have to be there anyway.
It means we will not taking the trip from Wroxham on the train
Hope this clears things up. If we do miss you all will make our way to the hall.

Ok then
If I manage to get the family out of the door then I'll meet you at Aylsham Ralph.
If we are on the drag then I'll see you at Wroxham Nick.
Unless you want to get up earlier and hang around for an hour and I manage to get the family out of the door (probable) then I'll see you at Wroxham at 9.30 Nick.
And we'll meet you at Aylsham Ralph.

There that should clear things up :?

I'm afraid that I'd rather not hang around Wroxham for an hour or so, therefore I'll be on the train from Norwich due in at 10:58 (to meet the 11:15 to Aylsham). If there were less of a wait at Wroxham for the 9:45 I would be aiming for that but unfortunately there isn't.

Ok we may see you at the exhibition unless we miss the first train

We'll have to take photos for those who are unable to attend

I've got some shots of the BVR. Ran out of memory before I got to the exhibition and had to rely on wife's which takes ages to take a shot and I shake to much to take a decent picture.
I'll sort and post them sometime.
I've even changed my avatar to 15" track at last.
