Nottingham 2006

Postby MOG » Tue Mar 07, 2006 9:16 am

Blimey!! Can't believe it's been a year :o

I was hoping to get to Narrow Gauge North next weekend but finances insist otherwise. However, I shall be going to the Nottingham show again. Unsure what day, I might try and persuade her-inside-of-the-doors to drop me off rather than worry about parking.

Hopefully see some Gnotters?

(Petar - very sorry I haven't been in touch about popping over..no excuse really)

Hi Martin
I'm planning to go to Narrow Gauge North on Sunday, so if you want a lift you're very welcome, that applies to all the Gnotters
I'll no doubt go to Nottingham as well but have not yet made any plans.

Hello David,
Thank you, a generous offer, but I won't be able to make it anyway now.
Hope you enjoy it and report back :)

Sorry you can't come Martin :(
Petar Narrow Gauge North is this Sat & Sun 10.30 - 5.00 (Sat), 4.30 (Sun) at Benton Park School, Rawdon just off A65 Leeds - Ilkley
If you'd like a lift on Sunday you're very welcome. :D
Same applies to you Colin :D
details are on http://narrowgaugenorth.org.uk - this was working just before I posted but isn't now
I don't know when Nottingham is on, but it was in March last year wasn't it - I'll have to have a look in RM

Thanks for the info David. Can't make either day, Saturday have optician's appointment to check up on my laser surgery and Sunday I'm off with a mate looking at motor bikes. Intend to return to biking after a 20 year absence. Have already bought the gear and booked my refresher lessons. I thought it wise to have some training first after so long, I want to enjoy it, not commit suicide.

If you find out when Nottingham is on let us know. Enjoy the show and bring back some photos if possible, he said cheekily!

Trust all the Gnotters are doing well.

Cheers

Not sure which day I am going to be there yet, or whether I'll be in my 'official' capacity (DEMU) or not. Nowt like last minute planning is there...

Sorry you can't make NG North, Petar, that makes me the sole Gnotters rep, so I'd better take my camera
I'll probably go to Nottingham on Saturday morning, but no definate plans yet.

Just a reminder that Nottingham is this weekend, 18th and 19th March.

I'll be on the DEMU society stand, probably painting more of the 'Shifting Sands' population as I sit there. I might even try and sneak 'Jay' in if anyone fancies a gander!

I'll be attending, just not sure which day. Things to do today, so Sunday seems favourite.
