Has anyone got any suggestions for a meeting?

Health permitting I'm up for a meeting... I live in south Nottinghamshire (albeit with a leics postcode) near loughborough. Tbh living in a small house in a village I don't have the space to host... nor can I drive (health reasons) but all being well my girlfriend should be able to drive me.

How about meeting somewhere out and about?

How about somewhere like Steeple Grange or Sherwood Forest Railway? (They usually have their gala beginning of October I think?)

I'm a newish-regular at Steeple Grange. I'm sure we could arrange something easily!

OK, sticking my neck out.... How about Sherwood Forest Railway, Saturday 27th September, which is the final Saturday so everything will be out and running for the 'Gala' (sadly no visitors this year)?

Sounds like a plan Colin. For those who haven't been before.. as well as the railway, there is a farm park with plenty of feeding pigs goats and other animals for the littl'uns.
I have a sneaky feeling that I might have something on that day but I'll check.. even if I have, I would say 'go for it'.. these things are notoriously hard to organise!

Just bumping this up.. Colin has posted some nice pics in prototypes and reminded us of the upcoming end of year running at Sherwood Forest.
I can't make it myself but any other Gnotters?

Sounds like a drastic action to take!

Well I'll be there most of Saturday, so if anyone who does go wants to meet up just ask a member of railway staff, they will probably know where I am!

Hi Colin & Martin

Just shows how long it is since I looked on here, sorry I missed that would have loved to meet up with you all again. :(

Will try and make a point of looking in at least once a week, trouble is each week only seems to last 3 days :!:

All the best anyway.
David
